What this site is

sjoeff.com is the personal website of SJOEFF, a DJ from the Netherlands. It also hosts two free in-browser tools for harmonic mixing: a Harmonic Mixer and a Harmonic Wheel. The site is a static website with no server-side application logic.

Data collection

No analytics, no advertising trackers, no cookies for tracking. The site does not collect personal data on its own.

The booking form submits to a third-party form handler. If you use it, your name, email, and message are sent to that handler in order to deliver the message. No other use is made of that data.

Local storage

The mixer and wheel store track data in your browser's local storage. On your first visit a small demo dataset is loaded locally so the tools are not empty; anything you import or add afterwards is stored the same way. This data stays on your device and is not uploaded anywhere. You can clear it at any time through the tool ("Clear All") or by clearing your browser's site data.

Third-party resources

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Loading a font from Google may expose your IP address to Google. Links to Instagram and SoundCloud open in a new tab; visiting them is subject to those services' own policies.

Disclaimer

The tools on this site are provided as is, without warranty. Harmonic matching is based on standard Camelot wheel rules and the metadata you provide. Always trust your ears over any tool.

This site is independent and not affiliated with Pioneer DJ, Rekordbox, Mixed In Key, or any other named software or service.

The design, brand, source code, and original content of this site and its tools are the work of SJOEFF and are protected by copyright. All rights reserved.

The tools are free to use in your browser. They are not free to copy, redistribute, fork, or rehost. Lifting the source code, reusing the UI, repackaging the tools under another name, or building a derivative product is not permitted without written permission.

Inspecting the code in your browser is fine. Using it as a base for your own project is not.
