Back to homeWelcome, and thanks for using DJ Tool. The Harmonic Mixer lays your whole library out as cards so you can instantly see which tracks blend well in key and tempo. Load your collection, then explore the matches.
How matching works
Every track carries its Camelot key and BPM. Hover a card (or tap it on a touchscreen) to highlight every track that mixes well with it. Click to lock a card so the matches stay on screen, and click again to release.
Reading the colours
The legend lists the mix types, from a Perfect Mix (same key) to looser blends like Energy Boost or Jaw's Mix. Each match gets a coloured badge showing how it relates and whether its BPM is close enough. Cards without a key, or outside your BPM range, stay greyed out.
Import Rekordbox XML
In Rekordbox: File → Export Collection in xml format. Then click Import Rekordbox and pick that file. It creates a new dataset with your tracks, keys and BPM.
Import Playlist (.txt)
Rekordbox can only export a playlist as txt or m3u8. Use the txt: in Rekordbox right-click a playlist, Export a playlist to a file, choose txt. Then click Import Playlist. It becomes a new dataset so you can match within just that playlist.
Import JSON
Load a collection you previously exported from this tool. Click Import JSON and choose the file.
Export JSON
Save the active dataset to a JSON file with Export JSON to back it up or move it to another device.
Add a track manually
Click + Add Track and fill in title, artist, key (Camelot, e.g. 8A) and BPM. Right-click a card — or tap the ⋮ button on touch — to edit it later.
Your data stays local
Everything is stored in your browser only. Nothing is uploaded.
